Privacy on Panty Lane
Effective October 1, 2026
What we collect
Account information includes your email address, public display name, profile text, links, account activity and Lane Credit ledger. If you customize an address, we also store the building settings and media you upload.
Traffic and invites
Panty Lane records page and address visits, outbound clicks and recent traffic totals. Invite and tracked-share links use a visitor identifier so the same visitor does not repeatedly earn credits for the same shared address on the same day.
Cookies
Cookies are used for sign-in, remembered sessions, invite attribution and visitor deduplication.
Payments
For paid Lane Credit purchases, payment details are handled by the payment provider. Panty Lane may retain transaction identifiers, amounts and status needed to reconcile the purchase.
How information is used
Information is used to operate accounts, addresses, Lane Credits, invites, moderation, traffic statistics, security and support. Panty Lane does not sell resident personal information to advertisers.
Public information
Your public display name, profile text, links, claimed addresses and approved address media can be visible to visitors. Your email address is private and is not shown on your public profile.
Retention and removal
Some account, address-history, transaction and moderation records may be retained after an address changes residents or an account becomes inactive where needed to operate the Lane, prevent abuse or meet legal obligations.
